We’re an online florist delivering across Sydney seven days a week — working with a network of experienced local florists who arrange and hand-deliver every order in the suburbs they know best.
From heart to bloom
Every flower carries a message — love, gratitude, congratulations, condolence. Most of the time the person sending them and the person receiving them are in different places, sometimes on opposite sides of Sydney. Our job is to make sure nothing gets lost in between.
Iris Florist began with one observation. Too many online flower orders end up as something mass-produced, boxed in a warehouse and couriered across the city — arriving tired, generic, and nothing like the picture. We wanted the opposite for Sydney: flowers arranged by hand, on the day, close to where they’re going.
So we built the business around local florists rather than a warehouse. It’s a slower thing to organise and a harder thing to scale. It also means what arrives at the door is genuinely fresh and genuinely made by someone who does this for a living.
How your order travels
Four steps between your order and their doorstep. We handle the first and the last; skilled local florists handle the part in the middle.

Choose an arrangement, add your message, and tell us where and when it needs to arrive. Order before 2 PM and we can deliver the same day, any day of the week.
We match it to a local florist
We send the design brief, the budget and the delivery details to a trusted florist in our network who works in that part of Sydney. Same-day orders are placed straight away.
It’s arranged by hand that day
Our partner florists buy from Sydney growers and flower markets daily and build each arrangement to order. Nothing is pre-made, nothing sits in a warehouse, and seasonal stems are chosen on the morning rather than from a fixed recipe.
It’s hand-delivered locally
The same florist delivers it, usually within a short drive. Shorter journeys mean fresher flowers on arrival — and if anything goes wrong, you deal with us, not a courier tracking number.
